Evolutionary Robotics is a computer-simulated technique of creating intelligent and Autonomous Robots. The initial idea of encoding a robot control system into a genome and have artificial evolution dates to the late 80s. The prime goals of Evolutionary Robotics is to acquire automatic methods for creating intelligent autonomous robot controllers. The central advantage of Robot design methods is that they might one day be used to produce controllers or even whole robots that are skilled of functioning in environments that humans do not understand well. Neural Network is the most common type of controller used in Evolutionary Robotics.
